Twenty seven-year old Anthony Nixon, best known as A. Jermaine, has been making footprints in the music industry for many years now. Born and raised in the church, he has been blessed with the music talents and gifts of writing, singing, teaching and playing music. A. Jermaine has done everything from facilitating vocal workshops to volunteering with programs such as the Word Foundation-a community outreach organization.
In 2004, A. Jermaine founded A. Jermaine and Ascension.
Since 2004, A. Jermaine has played for great recording artists such as Karen Clark-Sheard, Maurette Brown-Clark, Marvin Sapp, Juanita Bynum, Norman Hutchins and Kirk Franklin. More recently, A. Jermaine has written a song that was recorded by the Stellar Award and Grammy nominated Reverend Ernest Davis Jr. Wilmington Chester Mass Choir, which is scheduled to release in March of 2010.
As for Ascension... you can find them traveling up and down the East Coast with highlighted performances in New York City, Maryland, and Philadelphia. Turn on the television and you might have caught a glimpse of them as they shared the stage with Tye Tribbett and GA, on the Trinity Broadcasting Network, or better known as TBN.
