Israel Houghton is an internationally recognized worship leader, recording artist, songwriter, and producer. He has been in full time worship ministry since 1989. He, His wife Meleasa, and his two children, Mariah Engelique, and Israel Duncan II reside in Austin, TX.

Israel Houghton's latest venture is ok but not quite on the same level as some of his previous work. It has some good quality songs but I personally prefer Israel's worship music and there wasn't enough here for my taste. It has some good quality songs but overall I wasn't impressed with this project. It seems as though he was trying to do something a little different, and I don't think it worked that well. Maybe I just got spoiled with his "live from South Africa" cd as well as "Another level". Although POO didn't live up to my expectation of Israel's music, it is definitely not a bad cd by any stretch of the imagination.

He is the National Director of Music and Worship for Champions for Christ a high impact ministry to college and professional athletes with Pastor Greg Ball. He also leads worship regularly at Lakewood Church in Houston, TX. with Pastor Joel Osteen. Israel and Meleasa founded New Breed Ministries in 1995. Comprised of world class musicians and singers who are all ministers in their respective churches. They travel extensively with a message that crosses cultural, generational, and denominational boundaries.

Known specifically for their diverse sound effectively captured on the 2001 Hosanna! Integrity release of New Season as well as 2002's Lakewood Live 'We Speak to Nations', their heart is to deliberately diminish the lines that separate the Church, and bring all people together through worship. Once a member of Fred Hammond and RFC, he has also worked with the Young Messiah Tour, TBN, Crystal Lewis, Anointed, CeCe Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, and is currently finishing an Israel and New Breed- Integrity Gospel / Sony release produced by Tommy Sims due in October. With a heart for the Nations, true worship, and a passion for the Presence of God, Israel and New Breed add purpose to any event.

I must say that I truly enjoy Larry Colbert's music. He stays Biblically sound in all he does while keeping up with more current sounds. This single is very up tempo and it gets your head nodding. The lyrics put me in mind of the great Psalmist David. My hope is that many people will go out and support this local Harrisburg artist and be entertained by it. My prayer, however, is that we all listened to the lyrics as well and be blessed by this man of God.

Larry A. Colbert was born in Harrisburg, Pa. He is the son of Larry A. Colbert Sr. and Suella White Colbert. He is the youngest of 5 children and has one daughter, Taja Lael Colbert, age 5.

He is a member of the incredibly musically gifted and talented Scott White Family Ministries (generally regarded as the largest gospel singing family in the USA). He was raised in his grandfather's church, sang in the choir and with the Scott White Family Ministries.

His love for music was developed at a very early age when he started singing in the church choir and with the Scott White Family Ministries when he was 4 years old. He also was influenced by watching his mother perform with Pastor Shirley Caesar as a member of the Caesar Singers for approximately 12 years.

He started playing the keyboard when he was 14 years old and assisted with the gospel choir at his alma mater, Harrisburg High School when he was 16 years old. He has been minister of music for several churches and is the music director the Scott White Family Ministries. He is an accomplished musician, vocalist, composer (over 100 songs written), arranger, producer, worship leader, clinician and preacher.

As a musician, he has accompanied Pastor Shirley Caesar, Kim Burrell, Marvin Sapp, Tramaine Hawkins, the late Ronald Winans, the Williams Brothers and many others.

His first music project was produced in 2001 and was titled "The Release of His Blessings". He recently completed production on "You're My Everything" for new artist Taryn Osholowu.

His last and most challenging project was the result of a vision God gave him in 2006. This vision was to chronicle and record on CD and DVD the legacy of the Scott White Family Ministries. This project, titled "One Man, One Family, One Vision, Our Heritage" - The Scott White Family Ministries, was recorded live before an audience of approximately 1,200 in November 2006 and was released in November 2007. The CD consists of 13 songs and the DVD consists of 20 songs and a 45 minute documentary plus other bonus features. This project was produced through his music production company, Lael Music Group.

Larry has traveled and ministered in several countries including; Uganda, Kenya, Portugal, Jamaica and several places within the continental United States. He is also a graduate of New Creation Bible School in Nakuru, Kenya.
