Christ Fellowship Prayer Tabernacle is a 501 (c)(3) organization that was founded by Pastor Selara R. Mann, Sr. in 1983 with its roots in Pentecostalism. By 2006, the church entered into a transitional phase in which his son, Pastor Selara R. Mann, Jr. took on more of a role in the pastorate. After facing his own result found in religion thus far in life and uncovering the faulty foundation that it was built upon, Pastor Selara R. Mann, Jr. founded Exacting Truth, moving Christ Fellowship out of Pentecostalism and the past and into where it is now, in the present-where it is rooted and grounded in faith and no longer in religion.

Christ Fellowship and Exacting Truth Ministries has developed and implemented innovative teachings, lectures, and programs to motivate and empower the individual including a national traveling lecture circuit designed to dismantle religion and unlock the power of true faith and a community outreach organization entitled C.F.P.T. Ministry Promotions, which helps to bring first-class gospel entertainers to the area every year to perform at free venues.

Pastor Mann, Jr. acknowledged his call to word ministry at the age of 7 years old, and has been preaching, teaching, or lecturing consistently in some form for the past 31 years. This commission to preach has taken him from ministry at his home church, local revivals, musical concerts, stage theatre and large capacity speaking engagements, to the national lecture circuit beginning in the fall of 2006, which involves the origin of the Christian religion and its progression to current date. He is the primary speaker for Exacting Insight into the Word on Wednesday evening and for the principle weekly fellowship gathering on Saturday evening. He also moderates the C.F.P.T. Men's Breakfast Fellowship Forum.
