Church History: Trinity United Bible Church (TUBC) was founded by Lynette and Kevin Hunt and held it’s first worship service on Sunday, July 12, 1987. The church name reflects our beliefs:

Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

United – One faith to be on one accord

Bible – because it was independent and Bible-believing

Church – a body of believers in Christ

We started services in the J. Emmett Hunt Memorial Chapel, owned by Pastor Hunt’s father, the late J. Emmett Hunt. We eventually moved into the City Gate Missions building on Main Street. After a time of fasting and prayer, God opened the doors for us to purchase our very own building in South Coatesville where were served and worshipped from 1989-1994. We have served at our current location since then and God is continuing to bless and grow our ministry.

Through ups and downs, the ministry of TUBC has stood its ground. With a focus on community and soul-winning, we have held several events and campaigns for the glory of God. One of our most memorable campaigns was our 30 Day Evangelistic Outreach Campaign. We sheltered, served meals, and ministered to clients living off the streets, striving for their sobriety from drugs and alcohol.  Volunteers from the church along with Pastor and First Lady Hunt served breakfast, lunch, and dinner, held two worship services a day, with additional teaching and activity sessions throughout the day. The connection and progression made in 30 were very remarkable that we extended it ten days. We believe seeds were planted during that campaign and souls were added to the Kingdom.

As we continue to strive for winning souls for the Kingdom of God, we hope to see our Vision coming to full fruition in the years to come!

Church Mission: We stand on the mandate from Matthew 28:19-20, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always,

[even] unto the end of the world. Amen.” Our church motto is “A Going Church for a Coming Lord.” Our desire is to reach out to our community and abroad to share the good news of Jesus Christ and bring souls into the Kingdom of God!
