We Walk By Faith And Not By Sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7

Hello friends,

This is the day that the Lord has made and we are rejoicing and are glad in it. I want to take a moment and introduce myself. I am Juanita Austin the Senior Pastor of Christ Cares Ministries in the Harrisburg area.

It is an honor and a privilege to serve the Lord and his people. I thank God for the ministry gift of Lester Bowman and the work that he is doing in promoting our ministries through the PA Gospel Network. May the Lord bless him with abundance.

If I may I would like to take a moment of your time to encourage you with a few words concerning faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7 says we walk by faith and not by sight. Take a moment and think about this, let it take root in your heart. Say it out loud, we walk by faith and not by sight. Say it again we walk by faith and not by sight.

Walking means we are moving from one place to another. Walking with God will require you to walk with Him without any map or GPS why do you think that is? He does not want you to rely on your natural sight but your spiritual sight.

We had an opportunity to go to a fundraising event called an evening in the shadows.  This was an event to assist Vision Resources. This was a unique event because we were blindfolded thru a 5-course meal. They walked us to the table blindfolded and they served our meal and we had to rely on them to place our food and guide us through the process. This was an experience in trusting those who were serving us.

Close your eyes for a moment and think about a person who is physically blind,  for this person to move from one place to another they have to trust and rely on their seeing eye dog or a person, someone they can not see that will get them to their destination.

This is how our walk of faith is, even though we cannot see God, we trust that  He will get us to our destination. Praise the Lord!

Faith teaches you and stretches you to depend on God and His word. Walking by sight can be a distraction, a distraction could be a roadblock of doubt and a stop sign of fear, but I want to encourage you today we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us.

So as we walk with God we can be confident that the path we are on will lead us to a place of Victory! Hallelujah

Continue to walk in your blessings!
