We as the Members of Christ on an average eat 3 meals a day; well I’m here too tell you that we must eat more. In order too fend off the enemies (Satan) we must have a healthy diet for the word of God “But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” Matthew 4: 4. To fend off Satan’s weapons we must keep a sustained diet for the word of God. This is no time to sit and watch time pass you by .But this is the time to arm yourselves in the word of God  “Ephesians.6:11 – Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil”.

The devil know if he can get you to sit and stay complacent that you are no effect too his kingdom.Our Lord is the source of our very life, In whom we live and move and have our being.Too sustain our hope and desires, we must keep a healthy appetite for the word of God “1 Peter 2:2 – As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby”.

I implore you to read the word of God every day. This is the only defense we as believer has against the devil. Too defeat the devil and his angel we  must stay before the Lord in prayer and communion with God. We also know that we must not only be a hearer of the word but we must be a doing of the word also. The hunger that we as children of God must consider is a weapon that we must keep on  “ Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation ,and the sword of the Spirit  which is the word of God.” The devil knows if he can get our appetite to diminish, his battle is half won.

Keep the hunger for the word, the word of the lord is the most important weapon in our arsenal .This war that we are facing is very must real, and the only way we can maintain our fellowship is through sustaining a healthy diet of the word of the lord. “James 1:21 Wherefore, lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.” You got to be hungry it is vitally important to your nature life as well as for your spiritual life. In closing keep the hunger for the word of God (Matthew. 5: 6 Bless are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness .)
